Shirlee Lerman nee Burnstein, 92, beloved wife of the late Joe Lessman and the late Alexander Lerman; loving mother of Steve (Ann) Lessman, Marla (Allen) Judd, Mitchell (Ann) Lerman, Stuart Lerman and the late Gary Lerman; cherished Bubbie of 17 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; dear sister of Nate (Myrna) Burnstein and the late Rose (the late Joe) Coltun; many loving nieces and nephews. Founding member of the Joe Lessman Division of Multiple Sclerosis. Chapel service, Tuesday, 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Please accept my deepest condolences on your Mom’s passing. She was a big influence in my young life, in Humboldt Park, as I hung out with Marla . She was a hard worker, had a beautiful smile and was a very “with it” Mother.Our families were close and we felt like family. ( Weren’t you my second sister Marla?) . I always enjoyed talking with her. Those were great times! It was wonderful seeing her again in my early adulthood at Ezras Israel.

Wish I could be there to comfort you in person, but we now live in Israel. May your entire family be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
May you be comforted by her memories.
